lulatronic asked: Hey! Love your stuff! What inking method do you use? I noticed the line weight varies and is rough, but it adds a uniqueness to your style. Trying to learn good inking techniques:)

Upcoming Events: Ottawa Public Library and Leacock...
These days, I’m finishing up illustrating this really fun picture book called, Do Not Open, with the amazing people at Simon & Schuster NY. This gator is in that book! As I hurtle towards this deadline, I will also be doing a couple exciting cartooning events in Ontario. Ottawa Public Library - Monday, 8 July Kids’ Drawing Workshop (10am) This is where me and a bunch of 6-7...

Book Tour
This weekend I’ll be in New York for MoCCA with the incredible Tom Gauld and Drawn & Quarterly. We’re starting with this event in Brooklyn which looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. And then we head to: Ada Books - Providence, Rhode Island on Monday … and wrap up next week at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival which is always amazing.

Feininger
There’s a Feininger retrospective on right now at the MuseĆ© de Beaux Arts here in Montreal. I checked it out yesterday and it is so amazing. Go see it if you’re in town. Reading about these Bauhaus guys has led me to Kandinsky’s treatise, Concerning the Spiritual in Art and the associated colour theories of Klee and Itten and Delaunay, which I think is starting to give me...
